This collection of early Chinese bronzes from the Minneapolis Institute of Arts explores the evolution of bronze vessels from the Shang, Chou, and Han dynasties, from approximately 1523 BCE to 220 CE. The set looks at the significance of the decor, shape and function of these finely crafted bronze objects as well as how they were made.

This presentation includes slide images, audio and video.
